Cognoscente is a mail server account used for announcements of meetings, conferences, and colloquia. This list is not for discussion purposes or to send individual messages.Samples of representative posts are available at the Cognoscente Sample Post Page.
New subscribe and unsubscribe requests should be sent to the LISTSERV server at IU directly:
listserv@indiana.edu
The body of the message should consist of 'subscribe cognoscente' or 'unsubscribe cognoscente' (without the quotes).
Only members may send messages to cognoscente. To send to the list, use a subscribed email account and address your message to:
